Benjamin is the firm’s lead litigation attorney. He attended Florida State University for his undergraduate degree. During his studies, he traveled to Valencia, Spain, where he attended University of Valencia as an exchange student. He graduated from Florida State in 2007 with his B.A. in Creative Writing and minors in Geology and Spanish.
Following his graduation, Benjamin journeyed to Chimbote, Peru as a missionary. He spent the majority of his time helping rehabilitate gang members through education and faith and he also provided in-home medical care and prayer therapy to terminally ill members of the community. This period helped increase Benjamin’s working proficiency in Spanish and his awareness of underserved members of our global community. His experiences instilled in him a lifelong passion for helping people during their greatest times of need.
In 2008, Benjamin enrolled at one of the top-ten law schools in the nation, University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He graduated in 2011 and returned home to Pensacola, Florida where he began working as an Assistant Public Defender of the First Judicial Circuit of Florida. Benjamin’s time with the Public Defender’s office honed his litigation skills and courtroom presentation. And, he was again able to help those who came to him during their hard times. He transferred to the private sector in 2013 when he took a job at Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr and Smith, a national firm based out of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Benjamin has since made the move to Bowerman Law Group in Oregon City, Oregon. In Oregon, he has focused on helping those who have been injured, both in motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury scenarios. He also defends physicians and other healthcare providers in medical malpractice claims. Thanks to the variety of his practice skills, Benjamin can help you with many legal questions you may have. Benjamin has successfully represented individuals and corporations in: injuries involving death and disability, complex medical procedures involving standard of care issues, child custody disputes involving mothers and fathers, contract disputes involving landlords and tenants, and employment scenarios involving termination and harassment. While he focuses on cases involving medical care, Benjamin’s compassion for his clients has led him to fight in many legal arenas.
